I had a couple of gift certificates with me and I got a pair of $50 shoes for $1.94. Later that morning I went to where my mom and I work to take lunch to my mom, and I got offered a job working at another company for $50K a year. Then my human resources lady came down while I was talking to Mom and gave me a card with all sorts of gift certificates in it because a customer had called in and complimented me for good work. That was just in one morning. I also have an option of getting another job that would be better for me, but I've yet to call the guy to inquire about it. Kristen To find out more about Personal Gemstones Cleansing Gemstones   Gemstones guard and protect you and every once in a while, it is good to cleanse them. There are a number of ways to do this. You can put some salt on a plate and place your gemstone jewelry on it (except for Malachite). Then put this plate on your windowsill where daylight will shine on it. After 3 days, your gems will be cleansed and purified. Another way and much quicker is to dig a hole in the back yard. Wrap your gems in a cotton cloth or paper towel and place it in a plastic bag. Put it in the hole, cover it with dirt and place a rock or something on top, so you can find it the next morning. Gemstones come from the earth and the earth will cleanse and purify them overnight. Next morning dig up your rejuvenated gems and start wearing them again. Some of my clients have shared another way of purifying gems. If you have an Amethyst Geode, place your gemstone jewelry on the Amethyst over night. One more thing, every once and a while a client will say "My gemstone looks like it is clouded". I'll ask "Have you been wearing it all the time? Even in the shower?" "Yes" The soap and such has left a light layer of dirt on the gemstone. To clean the gem, use a soft bristel tooth brush with water (with a drop of dish soap) and gently brush the gemstone till it is back to its' natural glow then rinse and dry. Try not to use harsh jewelry cleansers on your jewelry, if you can avoid it. Take good care of your gems and they'll take good care of you. (c) 2004, Rachel E. Hart Quick Links...
