These gems will give every aspect of their being to heal a person on all levels: physical, mental and spiritual. They are all protective and healing with special aspects to each gem. Carnelian is warming, joyous and is a prosperity gemstone and helps burn off karma. It also aids tissue regenratoin and opens the heart chakra. It energizes the blook and aids the kidneys, lungs, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. AAA Lapis is projective and is the best gemstone to pray with. Gemstones that are faceted like a diamond are more powerful because a faceted gem conducts sunlight better, which means it will be able to conduct the energy of the gem at a much higher frequency. A lapidary artist will always use the best quality gem material for a faceted gem. Cabochons and beads are lesser quality gem material. So I prefer to use faceted gems when working with the healing aspects of gems as Personal Gemstones for my clients. Next there is the shape a faceted gem: circle, oval, square, rectangle etc. If you want to receive the most healing energy from your gemstone, the best shapes are oval and round, they bring the energy in. Squares and rectangles work more on the physical plane, which can be good in some cases but when working with Personal Gemstones for clients I always recommend either an oval or round shape. There are always exceptions to the rule. Most of the better quality Emeralds are Princess Cut (rectangle) or a square. In this case, I would rather use a better quality Emerald in a square or rectangle shape than use a lesser quality Emerald in an oval shape. I just made a beautiful Rutilated Quartz Ring for a client and it was a rectangle shape and she called me up to tell me what a positive difference it was making in her life, to protect her, remove negative people and feel energized.
