She will lecture on the folklore of gemstones, how to choose gemstones without getting ripped off, and how to meditate with gems yogically in the form of a mala. An update from Rachel! I taught at the Yoga Expo this month and loved being around all those yogi's and spiritually minded people. This was it's first year and it was a bit of a marathon but when I teach, I always get energized. For me it was an uplifting experience and I hope you all get a chance to attend next year. Do Birthstones Really Impact Your Life? Far back in history, people consulted astrologers to determine what their Personal Gemstone was. Astrologers used an entire planetary profile to determine which gemstone(s) were just right for that individual. Some planets are placed in an area of blessings, while others in a place of challenges, which can create difficulties in relationships, prosperity or health.
