It is very important to be able to see the hand of God working in one's life. You need intuition, to know one's soul and to see God's will, without intuition one is blindly walking through life.
One also needs, a clear consciousness, so one can make decisions without being influenced by the past. Once action and reaction are set into place, it is practically impossible to stop it, unless one has spiritual knowledge.
