For a gemstone to bring you blessings and protection, it must be right for you. Rachel looks at your your planetary alignment on the day you were born. Each planet relates to a number of gemstones and how they are positioned can create challenges with prosperity, health or relationships. Wearing your Perosnal Gemstones will help balance your plantary energy and bring you blessings on the physical, mental and spiritual realm. She does this through intellectual knowledge combined with intuition. For centuries Yogis, Astrologers and Kabbalah Masters have known that gemstones are highly effective in deflecting the negative energies of planets, thereby bringing you beneficent energy.

Once Rachel determines your personal gemstone(s), you should decide what would be the easiest way for you to wear your gems everyday? It can be in the form of a ring, pendant, necklace, bracelet, earrings, or mala (yogic meditation beads). Once you have decided, then Rachel goes about creating your jewelry. We keep an inventory of a number of semi-precious gems that meet our standards, of being natural, untreated gemstones with a combination of great color, clarity and cut. If your gemstone is precious, and we do not have it in stock, Rachel will go about finding it for you.

Color
Each gem species has a wide range of color. Rachel E. Hart chooses gems that will be beneficial and healing besides beautiful.

Extraordinary clarity
It is important for your personal gemstone to be as flawless as possible so it can bring you blessings. Rachel looks for gems that are free from eye-visible inclusions to 10-20 times magnification. We have higher standards for our gems and you will find our gems are in the top 3% quality of what you would normally find from other jewelers. This is because we work with the healing aspects of gemstones so they need to be a higher caliber to bring blessings into our customer's lives.

Weight
For your gemstone to be effective it must be a certain weight. Weighing at least 3 carats is the most desirable. If you do not want a gemstone of that size we can then go to 2.1 or 1.2 carats; this is done for those who have to take expense into consideration. For best results it should be 3 carats. We recommend, you start with what you can afford and when the prosperity starts to flow, then upgrade to a 3 carat gemstone so you will receive the total benefits. If your gemstone turns out to be semi-precious then we automatically use a 3 carat gemstone.

Cut
The skill of the lapidary artist in fashioning the rough gemstone into the finished shape, size and cut is critical to its healing abilities. For the gemstone to function at its total potential they need to be cut and fashioned correctly with high standards in mind. The fashioning of a gemstone brings out the benefits of the gem even more.

Creating Jewelry
To bring out the blessings of your gemstone jewelry, it needs to be made during a certain time of the month and you need to receive it during a certain time of the month. Rachel works closely with artisan jewelers who create your jewelry. Creating your jewelry according to Kabbalah guidelines enhances the properties of the gemstone and Rachel oversees this process to make sure it is done correctly. Rachel also makes the malas, wire-wrapping and knotted jewelry herself, while holding a meditative mind in place.

Wearing your Personal Gemstone Jewelry
It is important that you wear your Personal Gemstone(s) everyday. It does not have to be 24 hours a day but for a good amount of the day. Wearing your jewelry for about 1/3 of the day will bring you the benefits.
